Swapath was inspired by the street children’s capacity to cope up with the difficult situations faced by them and ‘chart their own path’ (Swapath) for their survival. They are called ‘SWAPATHGAMI’. Swapath Trust works towards the education and rehabilitation of some of the most vulnerable children in various parts of Gujarat. Swapath works to provide support to primary school children as well as children under six. Believing that education is every child’s right and not a privilege, Swapath has relentlessly over the years worked with some of the most vulnerable sections of children like the children of sex workers and the children of migrant workers in the interior-most villages of the Dangs in Gujarat. Since the year 2000, Swapath Trust has also stepped up and supported children in the wake of disasters like the earthquake in Kutch and riot-affected children in 2002. For over 22 years since its inception in 1997, it has offered support to over 15,000+ students till date.
Creative, enjoyable, innovative and hands-on ways of learning: Swapath Trust creates Learning Centres where children are encouraged to develop interest in ‘learning’, inculcate values, dissociate education from employment, pick-up essential life-skills and get a chance of participating in their own development.

Swapath Trust participated in the 21st annual TTEC Charity walk on the 19th of February 2023 with the Dang team participating in the walk and the run. Many well-wishers and friends also walked for Swapath Trust. Arvind Jadav, a student supported by Swapath Trust, also from Dang, bagged the first prize by clocking the minimum time of 27 minutes and 35 seconds for the 7.5 km. run. The event benefitted Swapath Trust by raising financial aid besides offering exposure
